NBS Card Technology, a U.S. unit of the Toronto-based payment systems company NBS Technologies Inc., has appointed Martin W. Chu vice president of marketing.
He is responsible for worldwide marketing, product development and management, business and market development, alliance partnerships, and global channel distribution.
Mr. Chu had two other tours of duty with NBS, starting as a technical manager in 1983. He spent several years with Allied-Signal Aerospace before returning to NBS as director of technical operations from 1989 to 1992.
Before taking his new job, Mr. Chu was technical marketing manager for systems integration for DataCard Corp. and director of marketing for Viisage Technology Inc.
