Affiliated Computer Services Inc. said it signed CU Anytime of Albuquerque to a five-year, $5 million processing contract.
ACS will convert to its operating platform the 73 automated teller machines shared by 14 credit unions in the CU Anytime network.
The Dallas processor will also supply a comprehensive array of support services, including card production and distribution, transaction authorizations, and complete electronic funds processing.
"CU Anytime wanted to accomplish two critical objectives for participating credit unions-to provide the highest-quality, ongoing ATM service and position them to take full advantage of a wide variety of emerging technologies," said Don Gray, president of the credit union service organization.
He said ACS beat out eight other bidders. As a nonbank it "offered the best business alignment with the long-term interests of our credit unions."
