Dynamic Card Solutions LLC, an Englewood, Colo., company that offer financial companies a way to produce payment cards instantly, is using technology from Collis Americas to help banks produce cards that adhere to the Europay, MasterCard, Visa security standard.
Dynamic Card Solutions said Monday that is offering its banking clients Collis' EMV Personalization Validation Tool, which can analyze and verify that their instant-issuing systems are ready to generate cards that meet the EMV transaction security specification.
Dynamic Card Solutions' system lets financial companies create payment cards in their branches for customers when they open new accounts, or to replace lost cards.
The EMV standard is widely used abroad to authenticate transactions; cards that follow the standard feature a chip and typically require people to enter a PIN to initiate purchases.
Collis Americas is an Arden Hills, Minn., unit of the Dutch software company Collis.
