Dynamics makes cards with digital screens and rewritable magnetic stripes. This technology allows one card to access two separate accounts, for example. Its technology can also be used to improve security by writing dynamic data to a card stripe.

The new facility, which it is using as its headquarters, "gives Dynamics the capacity to scale … and produce tens of millions of these next-generation payment cards per month," Jeff Mullen, Dynamics' chief executive, said in a press release Thursday.

The vendor says it worked with Regional Industrial Development Corp. to buy the facility.
