The automated teller machine company Cardtronics Inc. has two new customers.
On Thursday it announced a multiyear agreement to operate ATMs at about 650 grocery stores owned by Safeway Inc. of Pleasanton, Calif., including maintenance, processing, and customer service. The machines are expected to be available before the end of this quarter.
On Wednesday the Houston company announced it has installed 12 machines at properties owned by the hotel company Gaylord Entertainment Co.
The five-year deal covers the dozen machines at six Gaylord sites in Tennessee, Texas, and Florida, as well as several more ATMs that will be installed at the Gaylord National Resort to open next year in Washington, D.C.
Gaylord, of Nashville, owns resort and entertainment venues throughout the South, including the Grand Ole Opry.
