Carolina First Savings Bank, Georgetown, S.C., has named David L. Morrow president, pending approval by the Office of Thrift Supervision.
Mr. Morrow was a vice president of First Union Corp., Charlotte, N.C. and city executive of its Hilton Head offices.
The Georgetown thrift, a unit of Carolina First Corp., has eight branches in coastal South Carolina.
