Pennsylvania Companies Unveil Branch Deal

Luzerne National Bank Corp. in Luzerne, Pa., has agreed to buy a branch from CCFNB Bancorp Inc. The $280 million-asset company will also get $17.1 million of deposits located around Hazelton, Pa., according to a Friday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The chief operating officer of CCFNB Bancorp in Bloomsburg, Pa., plans to retire.

Edwin Wenner will retire in September 2014, the $622 million-asset company said in a regulatory filing Thursday. No successor was named.

Wenner has been COO since 2003. He joined CCFNB's predecessor, Columbia County Farmers National Bank, in 1974.

CCFNB's First Columbia Bank & Trust, has 13 branches in Columbia and Northumberland counties.
