Charles Noski to Retire from B of A

Bank of America's (BAC) vice chairman and a former chief financial officer will retire next month.

Charles H. Noski notified Bank of America on Monday that he would step down effective Sept. 1, the Charlotte company said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Friday.

Noski, a former finance chief at AT&T (NYSE:T) and Northrop Grumman (NOC), joined Bank of America in May 2010 but had to leave the CFO position and become vice chairman last year when a family matter prevented him from moving to Charlotte from Los Angeles. The CFO has to work in Charlotte.

Bruce Thompson then became CFO.
