Goldleaf Financial Solutions Inc. said Monday that it has appointed Alex P. Hart to its board.
Mr. Hart was an executive vice president and the general manager of the electronic banking services division at Fiserv Inc.'s CheckFree Corp. until April of 2008, when he left the company. He was previously the president and chief executive of Corillian Corp., which CheckFree acquired in 2007; CheckFree was sold to Fiserv later that year.
Goldleaf, of Atlanta, offers payments software to small and midsize banks; this month it sold its core processing software unit to focus on its check imaging and automated clearing house products.
Lynn Boggs, Goldleaf's chief executive, said in a press release that Mr. Hart's background "supports our direction and strategic focus."
