Alternative payments company Chirpify announced Wednesday that it has hired Rayburn Chan as its vice president of corporate development.
Chan was previously an executive at mobile payments company Vesta where he was responsible for that company's digital wallet platform, and American Express (AXP) where for a decade he was in charge of signing national marketing partnerships, among other duties.
Chirpify allows users to pay others over Twitter with their PayPal accounts.
"Having a seasoned leader with such deep payment processing and mobile expertise like Rayburn will prove instrumental to Chirpify's success," said Chirpify chief executive Chris Teso in a press release.
