ChoiceOne in Mich. Names Chief Lending Officer

ChoiceOne Bank in Sparta, Mich., has appointed Bradley Henion chief lending officer.

Henion was formerly the president of First Community Bank in Harbor Springs, Mich. For four years he headed up the $271 million-asset company's commercial and retail lending operations. Henion also was a senior vice president at GreenStone Farm Credit Services in East Lansing, Mich., and he worked for Bank of America in Grand Rapids, Mich.

"Brad brings added depth to our lending team both in commercial and agribusiness lending, areas where we are posed for significant growth," the $553 million-asset ChoiceOne's president, Kelly Potes, said in a news release this week. Potes was recently promoted to president after a long stint as senior vice president of retail services.
