Citigroup Inc. said Friday that CEO Vikram Pandit will have his base salary restored to $1.75 million a year from $1.
"Vikram has worked tirelessly to put Citi back on the right track, spearheading a restructuring that has returned the company to profitability and positioning the company for future growth," Citigroup Chairman Dick Parsons said.
Pandit did not receive a bonus in cash or stock last year, and he worked for a $125,001 salary for 2009. In February of that year, he agreed to work for $1 a year.
