Clarification
In the Feb. 7 issue, the page 8 headline on the continuation of a page 1 story improperly shortened the name of a research company mentioned in the story, BAIGlobal Inc. The company is not connected with the Bank Administration Institute, which uses the acronym BAI.
Correction
In Tuesdays issue, a news brief on page 8 erred in saying that Stephen Buell, Dreyfus Corp.s new director of equity research, had been promoted to the position. Mr. Buell came to Dreyfus on Feb. 5 from ING Barings, where he had been the global head of equity research.
