Clearing House Hires Senior Associate General Counsel

WASHINGTON — The Clearing House Association has hired Gregg Rozansky as managing director and senior associate general counsel.

He will report directly to Paul Saltzman, president of the non-partisan trade group, which represents the world's largest commercial banks, including JPMorgan Chase & Co., Citigroup Inc., and Bank of America Corp.

Rozansky previously worked as counsel at Shearman & Sterling LLP advising clients on both U.S. and international financial reform efforts including Dodd-Frank and Basel III. Before that, he spent a decade at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.

"Gregg is a sought-after expert on the regulatory challenges currently facing Clearing House owner banks," said Saltzman. "His understanding of key U.S. and global banking regulation and his background in economics will be valuable to The Clearing House's advocacy work and its goal of providing thought leadership and technical expertise on banking regulation."
