Community Trust Bancorp (CTBI) in Pikeville, Ky., has a promoted a veteran banker to chief financial officer.
Kevin Stumbo, who also serves as treasurer of the $3.7 billion-asset company, has been named to the post.
Stumbo has served as Community Trust's designated financial officer for the past decade.
The promotion "recognizes Kevin's continuing, significant contributions to the company," Jean Hale, Community Trust's chief executive, told American Banker.
Stumbo also has served as controller and general accounting manager throughout his 18 years with the company.
He previously held top financial posts at St. Joseph Martin Hospital and First Guaranty Bank in Martin, Ky.
