Union Savings Bank has upgraded its online banking service using technology from Fiserv Inc.
The Brookfield, Wis., technology vendor announced Wednesday that the $1.7 billion-asset Danbury, Conn., banking company is using its Corillian Consumer Advantage online banking software and its CheckFree Web RXP bill payment software. Union Savings has used Fiserv's Vision core banking software for 12 years.
Marie O'Neil, Union Bank's senior vice president of marketing and electronic banking, said in a Fiserv press release that her company had once considered Corillian and CheckFree "out of our league." But "the decision became easier when Corillian and CheckFree became part of Fiserv." CheckFree Corp. bought Corillian Corp. in 2007 and was subsequently purchased by Fiserv.
