Sheldon L. Pollock has become president and chief executive officer of Heritage Bank, Watertown, Conn.
Before joining Heritage, Mr. Pollock was treasurer for the Fairwood Financial Corp. in Cheshire and president, chief executive officer, and director for the First Lehigh Bank and Trust in Pennsylvania.
He started his 35-year career in the banking industry with First National Bank in Yonkers, N.Y., progressing to vice president, cashier, and director. He became vice president and district manager of the National Bank of North America, Yonkers.
For almost 20 years he was chairman, chief executive officer, and chief lending and investment officer of the North American Bank and Trust Co.
He has been president of the Connecticut Community Bankers Association.
