The contracts, which Convergys announced Thursday, are worth about $85 million over three years. The Cincinnati company did not name the two clients.

Convergys will now provide customer service agents who can speak Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese.

Dave Dougherty, Convergys' president and chief executive, said in a press release that his company has signed seven such customer service contracts this year. The "financial services sector offers considerable opportunity for growth," he said.
