Correction: 12/12/95 issue, Wells Issues Challenge

A story on Monday, "Wells Issues Challenge To Its California Rivals With Low-Fee Checking," on page 6, incorrectly described a fee charged in the bank's Custom Access account. Customers are charged $5 in any month in which they ask branch personnel to do a transaction that could have been done at an automated teller machine. The fee does not increase if more than one in-branch transaction is done in a month.
