A page 1 story Monday, "ACH Transaction Volumes Grow, But Revenues Don't Keep the Pace," relying on a page 11 statistical table, overstated KeyCorp's 1999 ranking as an originator of automated clearing house transactions. It ranks ninth, not seventh.
Likewise, Northern Trust Corp., which the story and table said had fallen to ninth, should have been shown in eighth place.
And Wachovia Corp., not mentioned in the story, should have been ranked seventh in the table.
Though the rankings were wrong, the transaction volumes in the story and table were correct.
