Correction

The chart on page 12A of last Tuesday’s Community Banking supplement, which was based on information compiled by Sheshunoff Information Services from press releases, understated the small-bank M&A advisory business of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods Inc. The investment banking company says it was the adviser on 106 whole-bank deals with a total value of $9.6 billion from Jan. 1, 1996 through May 24, 2001, in which either the buyer or seller had assets of less than $2 billion.
