The Executive Changes column on page 5 of the Aug. 20 issue overstated the responsibilities of Gregory P. Dormitzer at Century Bank and Trust Co. in Medford, Mass. Mr. Dormitzer is one of several senior vice presidents in the commercial loan department, but executive vice president Donald H. Lang is in charge of all commercial and consumer lending at the Century Bancorp subsidiary.

Because of an editing error, the Friday article "Study Says Acquisitive Banks Suffer Losses in Core Deposits" (page 5) misattributed to First Manhattan Consulting Group a figure on deposit growth at NationsBank Corp. NationsBank itself supplied the figure.
