In the Dec. 13 issue, BancWest an Issuer, Even as Trust-Preferred Fades on page 2 was mistaken in implying that Goldman Sachs Group was the sole lead manager of a $150 million securities offering by BancWest Corp. of Honolulu. Merrill Lynch & Co. co-led the issue.

Fridays Executive Changes column on page 3 included incorrect information from Clevelands National City Corp. about Rick Contipelli, the former manager of its Mentor Mall, Ohio, branch. Mr. Contipelli did not leave the company; he was promoted. He is now one of National Citys treasury management sales officers in Cleveland.
