Joe Delgadillo, the president and CEO of the Marshall & Isley Corp. subsidiary Metavante Corp., was on the left. Jeffrey C. Walker, the head of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.'s private equity unit, was in the center.
Allen H. Lipis, chief executive officer of Global Concepts Inc., says he misspoke in telling American Banker ("Fed Checkup on Checks Is a Healthy Start," Feb. 14, page 1) that he and his firm would send questionnaires to banks in April and May about their check volumes. The questionnaires will go out in March and April, Mr. Lipis says.
