The Las Vegas processor eCommLink Inc., a unit of Selling Source Inc., has agreed to provide payment processing services for the Discover eGift Card.
The agreement was announced Wednesday. eCommLink said it helped Discover Financial Services LLC in developing the product's Web site and is participating in other promotions, including a mobile text alert system that notifies eGift Card purchasers when the recipient receives the gift.
The prepaid, stored-value virtual card product, which Discover started offering Tuesday, allows recipients to make purchases online or over the telephone.
