Fiserv Inc. of Brookfield, Wis., has started offering a service that lets companies integrate electronic bill payment features into their Web sites.

The CheckFree Biller Direct HV service allows billers to control bill payment, presentation, and branding, Fiserv said, while its CheckFree unit manages the back-end bill delivery and payment processes.
Consumers can set up one-time, automated, and scheduled payments and can view and pay an electronic version of their bill, known as an e-bill, at the biller's Web site. They can sign up for electronic bill presentment at the biller's site or online banking accounts, and they can receive e-mail alerts to let them know when an electronic bill is available for viewing.
