A company that automates the production and delivery of documents has rolled out a new version of its software.
Esker, based in Lyon, France, said Thursday it has introduced Esker DeliveryWare 6.0, which adds a series of features.
According to the company, the latest version enables companies to process orders and invoices without the need for intervening manually and allows companies to annotate documents electronically. The system also synchronizes more easily with companies' processes and procedures, and alerts users to orders that demand priority, according to the company.
The latest version also is said to run significantly faster than prior versions.
"These enhancements solidify Esker's position as the unparalleled enterprise solution for medium and large companies looking to automate order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles, increase their competitive advantage and gain significant operational efficiencies," Jean-Michel Bérard, Esker's chief executive, said in a news release. "By incorporating recently added sales order and accounts payable features from our Esker on Demand solutions, Esker DeliveryWare customers can now take advantage of the same comprehensive functionalities as our software as a service customers."
