Euronet Worldwide Inc. said Thursday it has rebranded its prepaid payments division, which has operated worldwide under six names, with a single one: epay.
The renamed unit's services include payments processing, recharges of mobile and prepaid debit accounts and money transfers.
PaySpot Inc., the unit's legal name since the Leawood, Kan., company created it in 2002, will be retained.
What customers "loved about PaySpot is still here … but with our new resources as epay, we have extended our connections to offer cutting-edge products and services," Eric Mettemeyer, the president of epay's Americas division, said in a press release.
