MIDWEST

Citizens Republic Bancorp Inc. of Flint, Mich., announced that its executive vice president and chief financial officer, Charles D. Christy, is resigning June 4.

Christy has been CFO of the $11.8 billion-asset company since 2002. He is leaving to pursue other opportunities, Citizens said.

Lisa M. McNeely, who has been the senior vice president of financial management and credit analytics since 2008, will be interim CEO. McNeely joined Citizens in 2003.


MIDDLE ATLANTIC

Sterling National Bank in New York has hired Adrienne Greene as vice president and branch manager in Great Neck, Long Island.

Greene was a vice president and branch manager for Community National Bank in Great Neck. Before that she was a branch manager at Commerce Bank. Earlier she was a workout officer and business development officer for JPMorgan Chase Bank.

Sterling National Bank has $2.1 billion of assets.


State Bank of Long Island in New Hyde Park, N.Y., has hired Thomas Iadanza as its chief lending officer.

Iadanza was president and sector chief executive officer of commercial banking for the New York metropolitan area at Sovereign Bank, overseeing the middle-market and other lending divisions for New York and New Jersey.

He joined Sovereign in 2006 when the bank bought his previous employer, Independence Community Bank, which he joined in 2004. Earlier he was a managing director in Citibank's commercial markets group, directing the bank's Manhattan, Bronx, Westchester and Connecticut corporate lending groups.

Iadanza began his career in 1980 at National Bank of North America as the manager of the structured finance and health-care units.

State Bank has $1.6 billion of assets.


SOUTHEAST

BankUnited of Miami Lakes, Fla., has hired Eva Clementi as senior vice president of bank operations and Michael L. Lepera as a vice president and private banker and announced the movement of Joe Cardenas to private banker and team leader for Palm Beach County.

Clementi was a senior vice president of retail at Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union. Before that she was a senior vice president for the credit union in Miramar and oversaw areas including 31 branches, retail support, operations and collections.

Lepera was a senior vice president at PNC Bank. Before that he was an assistant vice president at SunTrust Bank in Fort Lauderdale.

Cardenas joined the $11.1 billion-asset bank in 2006 as a regional president for Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast.


Middleburg Financial Corp. in Virginia has promoted Gary R. Shook to chief executive officer.

Shook has been the $970 million-asset company's president, and a director, since 2008. He will retain those positions and will remain president, CEO and a director of Middleburg Bank, titles he has held since 2007. He joined Middleburg in 2005 as executive vice president of investment services.


WEST

Transportation Alliance Bank Inc. of Ogden, Utah, has hired Jeff Bell as its president. Bell had been the executive vice president of Stearns Financial Services, a division of Stearns Bank, since 2003. He is a founding member of the $481 million-asset Transportation Alliance Bank, which is a subsidiary of Flying J Inc.

The bank opened in 1998. Bell co-wrote its state charter for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and created, developed and implemented the bank's product line. He was also senior vice president and a director of the bank, as well as associate counsel for Flying J.


City National Bank of Beverly Hills has hired Jacqueline Kiser-Parker as a vice president and senior private banker in the bank's private client services division in Nevada.

Kiser-Parker was an executive vice president and the private banking director for Colonial Bank in Las Vegas.

Before that she was an area administrator with the bank. She began her career in 1982 at Valley Bank of Nevada.

City National Bank has $20.7 billion of assets.
