MIDDLE ATLANTIC

Amboy Bank of Old Bridge, N.J., has promoted Stanley J. Korevya Jr., Karen A. Mlynarski, and G. Gregory Scharpf to executive positions.

Mr. Korevya is an executive vice president and the chief operating officer. He is also on the board of Amboy Bank and its parent, Amboy Bancorp. He joined the $2.6 billion-asset bank in 1990.

Ms. Mlynarski, as a senior vice president of the bank and its chief risk officer, will oversee audit, loan review, and compliance. She has been with Amboy since 1994.

Mr. Scharpf is now a senior vice president at the bank and its chief retail banking officer. He has been at Amboy since 2002. Before that he had been a vice president and segment manager at Bank of America Corp.


SOUTHEASTBank of Georgetown in Washington has hired Mary Kornegay-Jones as a vice president and the manager of its Arlington Courthouse branch.

Ms. Kornegay-Jones was a branch manager and assistant vice president at PNC Bank in Arlington, Va. Before that she held several jobs in Fairfax, Va., with BB&T Corp., including retail service officer, relationship banker, and loan collateral insurance specialist.

Bank of Georgetown has $207 million of assets.


SOUTHWESTSan Antonio National Bank of Refugio has hired Ken Raymie as executive vice president and chief retail officer.

Mr. Raymie was an executive vice president and commercial lending manager at Broadway National Bank in San Antonio. Before that he was a vice president and relationship manager in the commercial banking division in Boston.

The $121 million-asset bank also promoted Alan Neis, to executive vice president and chief credit officer.

Mr. Neis was a senior vice president and loan officer for the bank. Before that he held a similar position at Sterling Bank in Houston.

 


 Meridian Bank of Phoenix has hired Julie Raymond as executive vice president and chief administrative officer.

Ms. Raymond had held a similar job at First National Bank of Arizona of Scottsdale since 2004. Before that she was an executive vice president and director of branch administration at National Bank of Arizona in Tucson, where she oversaw retail banking and led marketing and enterprise efforts.

Len LaBrie was promoted to executive vice president of Arizona banking for the $2.2 billion-asset bank, as well as chairman of the loan committee. He will work with Ms. Raymond and will continue to manage the bank's East region.


WESTFirst Business Bank of San Diego has hired Pamela Isaacson as its vice president and operations administrator.

Ms. Isaacson was the vice president in charge of the cash management department at San Diego National Bank since 1998. Before that she had been a vice president and branch manager for Home Savings of America in Little Falls, Minn.

First Business Bank has $80 million of assets.

 


 1st Capital Bank of Monterey, Calif., has promoted Marilyn Goode to senior vice president and chief administrative officer.

Ms. Goode had been a manager of operations and compliance at the $89 million- asset bank since she joined in July. Before that she had been a senior vice president and regional manager at Umpqua Bank, which she joined in 2006 when it bought her previous employer, Central California Bank.

At Central she had been a senior vice president and chief administrative officer since 2002.
