SOUTHEAST

First Bank, a Lexington, Tenn., unit of First South Bancorp Inc., has hired Jon Fox as its chief information officer.

Fox was an assistant vice president and the chief information security officer for United Services Automobile Association. Before that he was the assistant vice president of enterprise architecture and systems engineering. He worked for USAA for 25 years.

First Bank has $1.7 billion of assets.


MIDDLE ATLANTICBlueRidge Bank of Frederick, Md., has hired Gregory B. Fish as vice president of credit administration and promoted Sandi Gouker to vice president.

Fish was a vice president and the credit department manager at Access National Bank in Reston, Va.

Gouker was an assistant vice president and corporate secretary at Fredericktown Bank before she joined the $52 million-asset BlueRidge in 2007. As vice president, she will oversee bank operations, investor relationships and administrative management.

 


 Mid Penn Bancorp Inc. of Millersburg, Pa., has hired Rory G. Ritrievi as the president and chief executive officer of the company and its Mid Penn Bank.

Ritrievi will also sit on the boards of both the $563 million-asset company and its bank. He was the senior executive vice president, chief lending officer and market president for Commerce Bank in Harrisburg, which Toronto-Dominion Bank bought in March of last year. Before joining Commerce, he was the executive vice president and regional director of commercial lending for Keystone Financial Inc.

Mid Penn Bancorp also promoted Kevin W. Laudenslager to chief operating officer and president of the bank's Northern region. Laudenslager will remain a vice president and the treasurer of its parent. He has been the treasurer since 1998 and a vice president since 1997.

He has worked for Mid Penn Bancorp since 1985.


SOUTHWESTTrustTexas Bank of Cuero has promoted Shay Iacoponelli to executive vice president of the retail banking division, Susan Frels to senior vice president and retail manager and Sean Garcia to assistant vice president.

Iacoponelli was senior vice president of marketing, education and special projects. She has worked since 2003 at TrustTexas, a $155 million-asset unit of TrustTexas Mutual Holding Co.

Frels was the senior vice president of human resources. Before that she was the manager for the bank's branch in Cuero.

Garcia will remain the manager of the bank's Victoria branch, a job he has held since February of last year.

 


 PlainsCapital Bank in Lubbock has hired Corey Tucker as vice president of commercial lending.

Tucker had been a vice president and loan officer at Bank of Weatherford since 2006.

PlainsCapital has $3.9 billion of assets.
