Executive Changes

Silicon Valley Bank, Santa Clara, Calif., has hired David A. Jones as executive vice president and chief credit officer.

Mr. Jones was a senior vice president and senior credit officer in Portland, Ore., for Wells Fargo Bank and, before Wells bought it, for First Interstate Bank. He reviewed loans for companies in Oregon and southwest Washington.

He will manage Silicon Valley Bank's credit administration group, whose responsibilities include loan administration, loan analysis, and special assets.

The bank is owned by $2.2 billion-asset Silicon Valley Bancshares.

San Jose National Bank in California said Sheila Adams has joined its homeowners association department.

Ms. Adams was hired as an assistant vice president of business development for the East Bay of Northern California. She had been a client relations officer at California Bankshares.

San Jose National has $315 million of assets.
