Executive Changes: M&I Promotes E-Commerce Group Leader In Data Services

M&I Data Services in Milwaukee has promoted Michael Touhey, the leader of its electronic commerce group, to president of the group.

He had held the title of senior vice president.

Mr. Touhey joined the company in 1993 as manager of its client services division. He was later promoted to senior vice president of the investment technologies division.

Earlier he worked 16 years at International Business Machines Corp.

M&I Data Services is a division of $24.4 billion-asset Marshall & Ilsley Corp.


MIDDLE ATLANTIC

Boston Co. has hired Richard Rosenthal as a vice president and senior mortgage calling officer for Manhattan.The company, a subsidiary of Pittsburgh-based Mellon Financial Corp., provides home loans.

Mr. Rosenthal was president and founder of Accord Mortgage Services in Bloomfield, N.J., which is now closed. He has 16 years of experience in the mortgage industry.


PNC Advisors in Pittsburgh, has promoted Pamela Fraser Wilford to senior vice president of trust services.Ms. Wilford will be in charge of setting the strategy and providing overall leadership for personal trust business in Delaware.

She was managing director and chief counsel of the fiduciary practice group, in charge of fiduciary, pension, and regulatory legal work.

She joined PNC Bank in 1989 as head of its trust legal department. Earlier she worked in the trust estates department of Morgan, Lewis & Brockius, a law firm in Philadelphia.


WEST

Washington Mutual Bank in Seattle has hired Lynae Rice as senior vice president for mortgage banking performance support.Ms. Rice will develop a strategic plan for recruitment, as well as compensation and career development programs the mortgage banking group.

She was a partner at Penn-Rice Consulting in Arcadia, Calif., and has 14 years of financial experience.

Washington Mutual also hired John G. Lopez as first vice president for mortgage banking compliance.

Mr. Lopez was a vice president and compliance manger for Southern Pacific Bank in Los Angeles. Earlier he was the compliance officer for Glendale Federal Bank, now called California Federal Bank. Before that he was a compliance examiner for the Office of Thrift Supervision.

Washington Mutual has $34.4 billion of assets.
