The Houston air carrier ExpressJet Holdings Inc. has agreed to install cash and treasury management software from Kyriba Corp. of San Diego at its ExpressJet Airlines.
Kyriba said Wednesday that ExpressJet would use the online financial management software to keep track of account balances, move funds, forecast cash positions, make payments, report transactions, and other activities.
ExpressJet Holdings is one of the largest operators of regional airplanes. Its unit was known as Continental Express until this year.
Fred Cromer, ExpressJet's chief financial officer, said in a Kyriba press release that the software's "real-time cash management will further increase efficiency and allow us to focus more time on growing our business."
