Fifth Third Names Mike Collins Investment Manager for Western Ohio

Fifth Third Bancorp has announced the appointment of its second regional investment manager in less than a month.

The Cincinnati banking company has promoted Mike Collins to area investment manager for the Butler County region of Cincinnati and Western Ohio. In this role, he will oversee a team that provides financial guidance, investment services, individual retirement strategies, education savings strategies and insurance.

Collins has worked for the Fifth Third Securities Inc. for 15 years and was previously an investment executive, according to a release Thursday.

In December, the $115 billion-asset company named Gregory "Scott" Palmer as an area investment manager for the Greater Chicago region.
