First Data Corp. said Wednesday that it has hired Robert P. DeRodes as its chief technology officer.
The Denver processor, a unit of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., said Mr. DeRodes oversees product development, processes, and infrastructure.
Mr. DeRodes, 58, has worked in the financial services, airline industries, and retail industries, most recently as an executive vice president and the chief information officer for Home Depot U.S.A. Inc. Previously he was the CTO for Citigroup Inc.'s global card products group, where he was responsible for developing and implementing a global card technology system.
