First Data Corp.'s Card Services Group announced it will close its Sioux Falls, S.D., credit card processing facility by next July.
The center employs about 175 people, who can seek jobs at other First Data locations. Those who are not placed will be offered severance and outplacement services, the company said.
First Data said its planned acquisition of Card Establishment Services would allow it to consolidate the Sioux Falls operations into Hagerstown, Md., the site of CES's data processing center.
