First Federal Savings Names Executive

First Federal Savings of San Gabriel Valley, in West Covina, Calif., has appointed Dale J. Schiering as senior vice president and chief lending officer. He is responsible for loan origination, underwriting, processing, and servicing. He will also be responsible for the activities associated with the institution's community reinvestment program. Mr. Schiering was first vice president of secondary marketing at Union Federal Bank in Brea, where he managed the secondary marketing department and related loan-sales functions.
