First Interstate Assigns 3 Execs to Trust Unit

LOS ANGELES - First Interstate Bancorp has appointed three executives to its trust and private client services unit.

Last year, the Los Angeles bank reorganized the group, which spans 13 states and sells financial products and services through 1,142 offices.

The strategic unit manages approximately $150 billion in trust assets under administration for institutional and personal trust customers.

Nancy N. Campbell, an International Business Machines Corp. veteran, joins First Interstate in Scottsdale, Ariz., as senior vice president, sales and service marketing for the private banking and trust unit.

Phillip J. Guay, a senior vice president of corporate marketing, has switched hats to become director of sales and marketing for trust and private client services for the Northwest region.

First Interstate plucked Bernadette DeAngelis from Phoenix-based Northern Trust Bank of Arizona, where she managed marketing and trust sales. First Interstate named her a vice president, marketing manager for its trust group.
