First Southern Bancorp Inc. in Boca Raton, Fla., is using Heartland Payment Systems Inc.'s check processing platform, Heartland Check Management, to do remote deposit capture for business clients, the processor said Monday.
The Princeton, N.J., processor's system lets businesses monitor the check during clearing and get notifications at each step.
Heartland's system "automates check processing, allowing our clients to streamline operations and focus on their core business," Tony Gautney, First Southern's executive vice president and head of cash management, said in a press release.
