Monitise Americas LLC announced Monday that five more financial institutions have signed up for mobile banking services through agreements with NYCE Payments Network.
The Providence, R.I., provider of mobile financial services is a joint venture of Metavante Technologies Inc. of Milwaukee, which wons NYCE, and Monitise PLC, a British mobile banking vendor. It said the additional contracts bring to 20 the number of customers that have signed up since the service launched in October.
The latest customers are: the $193 million-asset Commerce Bank of Arizona unit of CBOA Financial Inc. in Tucson, Ariz.; the $163 million-asset Forest Park National Bank & Trust Co. unit of First Forest Park Corp. in Forest Park, Ill.; the $121 million-asset Industrial Credit Union in Boston; the $57 million-asset Patriot State Bank of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; and Wedbush Bank in Los Angeles.
