FJ Capital in Washington Lands Investment from Bridge Equities

FJ Capital Management said Thursday that it had received a "significant investment" by Bridge Equities LLC.

FJ Capital, which is managed by former Friedman Billings Ramsey Group executives Martin Friedman and Andrew Jose, was created in 2008 to make investments in community and regional banks.

Bridge Equities is a unit of SunBridge Capital Management LLC that is backed by the Bainum family, described in a press release as a prominent Washington, D.C,. family whose previous investments include Choice Hotels International and Manor Care Inc.
