Freddie, CUNA Renew Technology Pact

Freddie Mac has renewed an agreement to provide technology, training, and favorable pricing to members of the Credit Union National Association.

The renewal was announced Tuesday. The parties did not say how long the new contract will last. The original one was announced in December 2002.

Iliana Ghanem, Freddie's vice president for community lending, said in a press release that the agreement lets credit unions "access a full range of correspondent mortgage lending services and competitive secondary market strategies without having to add staff or retool their systems."
