Green Dot Corp., a provider of prepaid cards, announced Monday that it has promoted Mark Goldin to chief operations and technology officer.
Mr. Goldin is now in charge of the Los Angeles company's voice and data networks, retail distribution, supply chain management, and call centers, and will help develop its corporate strategy.
Mr. Goldin has been with Green Dot since 2005 in a variety of technology positions, including chief information officer and head of operations. Previously he spent 13 years as Thomson Elite's chief technology officer for 13 years.
Mr. Goldin reports to Green Dot's president and chief executive, Steve Streit, who said in a press release that "there is literally no part of Green Dot Corp. that doesn't rely on Mark's many divisions, and he has handled this immense responsibility with grace and accomplishment."
