Heartland to Combine, Rename Wisconsin Banks

Heartland Financial (HTLF) will combine and rename two banks in Wisconsin under the name Wisconsin Bank & Trust.

The $4.3 billion-asset company's branches around Madison and Monroe operate as Wisconsin Community Bank, while branches in Green Bay and Sheboygan are called Heartland Business Bank. The combined bank will have $500 million of assets and seven branches.

The name change should be completed by early September. Heartland Financial will notify customers of the change this week, though clients will not have any changes to their accounts or services, the company said Wednesday.

Heartland Financial is a multi-bank holding company based in Dubuque, Iowa.
