Hyperion launched in 2006 and has one branch with more than 3,000 accounts and $91 million of assets. By using Open Solutions' system, "we will be able to improve efficiency in our branch," Wayne Hardenbrook, Hyperion's chief financial officer, said in a press release.

"The new system reduces the time spent on employee training, is user-friendly and provides our employees with the information needed to better serve our customers," Hardenbrook said.

Hyperion said it is also using Open Solutions for accounting, voice response, electronic funds transfer, item processing and remote deposit capture.

"We look forward to continuing to work with Hyperion bank," Louis Hernandez Jr., Open Solutions' chairman and chief executive, said in the release.
