The Investment Company Institute has hired two executives on its government affairs team and promoted another person in the group.
Tonnie Wybensinger joins the ICI as director of financial services policy, and Allen Huffman has come on board as director, retirement security and tax policy.
Peter Gunas, who previously held the post Huffman now has, was promoted to government affairs officer, retirement security and tax policy.
Wybensinger was previously chief of staff for U.S. Rep Bill Posey, R-Fla., a freshman member of the House Committee on Financial Services.
Huffman has worked on Capitol Hill for two decades, spending 18 years as counsel to Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D.
Gunas has been with the ICI since 2005. She previously worked at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. and the Department of Labor.
