Consumers Credit Union in Waukegan, Ill., has joined the list of financial services companies using Fiserv Inc.'s Acumen account processing software.
The decision to use the technology was part of the $550 million-asset credit union's plan to increase its membership base of more than 52,000.
Acumen's "flexibility supports our growth model as we implement strategies for member acquisition and deliver services to new and existing members," Sean Rathjen, Consumers Credit Union's president and chief executive, said in a press release Thursday.
Fiserv, of Brookfield, Wis., rolled out Acumen last year and is marketing it to large credit unions.
Consumers Credit Union will install Acumen in-house. It also will use Fiserv's LynxGate program for switch gateway processing and Nautilus for enterprise content management.
