In Brief: Aggregation Software for Vanguard

NEW YORK - Vanguard Group announced has licensed software from CashEdge Inc. to provide account aggregation to its mutual fund shareholders.

The service will give shareholders access to information about their Vanguard and other accounts at Web-enabled financial institutions. It will show the five-year transaction history for their mutual funds and three-year transaction history for brokerage accounts.

John J. Brennan, Vanguard's chairman and chief executive officer, said in a press release, "Vanguard shareholders will be able to view all their online financial information in one place, analyze their complete financial picture across their various financial institutions."
