WASHINGTON Allstate Insurance Co. will help D.C.-based Industrial Bank provide home improvement loans to Washington residents.
The agreement was announced Thursday.
The loans are part of a housing revitalization effort launched in conjunction with the citys Department of Housing and Community Development. They will be offered through affiliated community-based organizations that qualify for the departments housing programs and made available through Industrial Bank.
The Allstate Home Improvement Loan Program, a $3.5 million investment, is an expansion of the companys Neighborhood Partnership Program.
